Round blades are usually made of high-quality special steel. Now round blades are used in various industries, and the use is very common. You know, the round blade is not easy to use. In addition to the selected steel raw materials, heat treatment is one of the most critical factors. To understand the use of the round blade, we must first understand the heat treatment process of the lower round blade.
When the round blade is forged and rough machined by lathe, heat treatment shall be carried out. The common heat treatment of round blade is salt bath heat treatment and vacuum heat treatment. No matter which heat treatment method is adopted, it is necessary to have different materials and choose different temperatures. For example, some materials can release the highest hardness when the tissue reaches 800 degrees, and some can release the highest hardness when it reaches 1100 degrees.
When the selected round blade material is subjected to heat treatment, it shall be tempered after reaching the maximum hardness. The blade of any material shall be tempered for at least 2-3 times before it can be fully delivered. If the tempering times are less, the tissue distribution in the blade will be uneven, resulting in poor use of the blade. After tempering for two or three times, place the round blade in normal temperature air for cooling, so that the heat treatment of the round blade is completed.
Remember that the hardness of both round blades and other blades is obtained by tempering. Generally, the highest hardness is obtained after quenching and heating, and then the desired round blade hardness is obtained by tempering.
